More H.P. Lovecraft Papercraft

Monday, December 29, 2008

In 2007, a papercraft artist known as Jerom created several different Lovecraftian items for easy assembly by cultists everywhere. The origami creations, which can be downloaded, printed, and folded accordingly from the images in this post, include two of H.P. Lovecraft's nefarious tomes as well as a Cthulhuvian face. De Vermis Mysteriis and the hideous Unaussprechlichen Kulten by Friedrich von Juntz. These three are, in my opinion, the best of the best found on the artist's blog "Le blog de Jerom."

Curiously, the Cthulhu face posted here is not covered with the characteristic tentacles. However, it seems the unspoken look of malevolence still makes it Cthulhuvian enough--or at least a demoniacally twisted Spongebob character. Visit the blog linked above for a few other Cthulhu Mythos papercraft creations and more related sketches of Lovecraftian goodness.
