"The Dunwich Horror" Trailer

This is a trailer for an amateur production based on Lovecraft's tale, "The Dunwich Horror," slated for release next year. I'm honestly not sure about this one. 2008? Some of the sounds and visuals remind me more of 1978. Watch and see, though it looks like it will take a large coup for this one to pull off an epic win without falling into the pit of bad Lovecraftian films. Also, for the record, it isn't the first movie based on "The Dunwich Horror." A 1970 version was released only loosely based on the tale, with much campiness associated with the era. Not frightening or tremendously Lovecraftian, but worth a look as a rental or out of the bargain bin. Here's hoping the new film will pull off some surprises better than the '70s version, but I don't hold my breath on this one.
