Arcane

I came upon this long flash video game through the forums at Thomas Ligotti Online. "Arcane" is an entertaining, free game put out some time ago and based on the works of Lovecraft. It has eight episodes with a well plotted storyline faithful to HPL. Perhaps due to my amateurish skills at these games, I am only up to part four myself. However, it seems fair to say the game presents mind-bending puzzles of impressive depth and difficulty for a simple flash game.

The first part of the actual game begins here, and it usually procedes accordingly. Dr. Bantham of the excellent TLO site has been good enough to provide links allowing the player to skip around the various broken parts of the game.
