Ligotti and Current 93 Collaboration on Youtube

I stumbled upon part of "I Have a Special Plan for this World" from a rare Current 93 single recently posted on Youtube. There is no real video footage to accompany the ambient piece, but the eerie results of collaborative efforts by Thomas Ligotti and Current 93's David Tibet remain powerful. Ligotti, who worked with the British band on several other projects, wrote the lyrics for this piece, while Tibet and company performed it. A cacophony of unsettling sounds are interspersed with sinister dialog that sounds like it's being spoken through a tape recorder, not unlike the bizarre aesthetic ramblings found in Ligotti's tale, "The Bungalow House."

A great introduction to the dark philosophical horror of Tom Ligotti, and a reproduction of a rare Ligottian piece.
