"Playboy" Mentions Massive Lovecraft Art Tome

For their holiday issue, adult magazine "Playboy" has thrust H.P. Lovecraft somewhere he probably thought he would never find himself: between the pages of popular smut. The immense Artists Inspired by H.P. Lovecraft: A Retrospective published this year by Centipede Press was featured in Playboy's gift giving section as a fine example of a coffee table book to own. Certainly, there's little to dispute in the adult publication's assessment, since those motivated or affluent enough to afford this great tome will acquire an eternal conversation piece. Nail this blurb up on the bulletin board as another instance of H.P. Lovecraft's progression into mainstream attention and respect. Lovecraft, as well as the artists inspired by him, are certain to enjoy widened acclaim as a result of this beautiful book being put out by Centipede.
