An Uncommon H.P. Lovecraft Photograph from "The Fossil" (1957)

Chris Perridas' whirlwind blog of knowledge continues to turn up rare Lovecraft items. That's why I am cross-posting this article from a 1957 volume of "The Fossil," a middle twentieth century journal for alumni of amateur journalism. More about "The Fossil" itself and Lovecraft's well known involvement in the amateur press can be examined in detail at Perridas' blog linked above. The piece here is particularly interesting because it contains another less common photo of H.P. Lovecraft. As I've stated before, this blog is dedicated to providing an informal archive of rare Lovecraft images. If you have 'em, scan 'em and send 'em in. Lovecraft readers have had only limited access to collections of HPL pictures. In lieu of a proper published photo album, the internet is stepping up as a venue for collecting scenes of Lovecraft the man.
