New Reggie Oliver Website Launched
Tuesday, July 22, 2008
Cult weird author Reggie Oliver finally has an official website up and running here. The author of the supernatural collections The Dreams of Cardinal Vittorini, The Complete Symphonies of Adolf Hitler, and Masques of Satan has established an appropriately grim website. Called "The Black Cathedral," it's still in embryonic stage. The overall layout, complete with Gregorian Chants played backwards and decorated with Oliver's own art work, seems like something from the online world in the 1990s. Yet, for Oliver, the look and slight temporal warp is a comfortable fit. Viewers can currently read about Oliver's background, weird works, and contact the author. It appears samples of his rare stories in both text and audio formats will be following shortly.
Can't wait for these to be uploaded? Head over to the Ghost Story Society for audio podcasts of Reggie Oliver reading several of his stories. His as yet unpublished tale, "A Donkey at the Mysteries," is there, alongside "Puss-Cat" from Masques of Satan.
