The Strange Adventures of H.P. Lovecraft Promotional Video

The Strange Adventures of H.P. Lovecraft, a forthcoming comic series that extensively uses Lovecraft himself as a hero, has released a promotional video today on Youtube. The unusual comic follows Lovecraft's adventures with a real version of the Necronomicon as he fights cosmic horrors and even attempts to win love. This will almost certainly prove to be one of the most remarkable "revisions" of Lovecraft's relatively quiet, unassuming life.

Cameo appearances by H.P. Lovecraft in Cthulhu Mythos stories following his death are not really new. However, only a few tales have really pushed creativity to its limits by employing Lovecraft not as a mere reference or victim, but as a character. It seems this new comic is at least straining to produce Lovecraft, the hero, while keeping it engaging too.
