A Lovecraftian Pilgrimage

"Pyat's Fortress," an amateur production on Youtube, just uploaded Pyat's 2007 tour of Lovecraft's Providence. Rather educational commentary accompanies pictures of H.P. Lovecraft's grave and Providence sites of importance to Lovecraft's fiction. The notorious real life inspiration for "The Shunned House" is visited, along with the four hundred year old Mystery Mill ruin outside the city, and several other curious places. The observations made by Pyat on Providence's less noticeable features like the flow of city life, diners, and history helps make this one of the best amateur presentations of a Lovecraft visit.
