Strindberg & Helium

Looking for some comic relief that combines the archetypal gothic decadent with a talking balloon? Look no further than "Strindberg & Helium." The flash animation series features August Strindberg, a bleak gentleman contemplating the dour side of existence, and his sidekick Helium, a buoyant, high -voiced creature. The humor lies in Helium's redundant and chipper echoes of Strindberg's observations, hilariously casting doubt on the seriousness and solidity of Strindberg's shadow world. This is a one of a kind cartoon that exists by virtue of minds acquainted with the weird and some very random humor. Four short episodes have been made to date. Hopefully, we will see more of Strindberg and his floating sidekick in the future as well.
