The story below reads like something out of M.R. James. This would-be thief in Malaysia claims he was forced to the ground every time he tried to escape from an old house he broke into. It would be interesting to know whether this presence is a former tenant of the house in question, a sorcerer's personal guardian, or something altogether stranger.
