Weird News: More Signs of the Old Ones

This discovery brings to mind a host of ideas that jive with the Lovecraftian. We have an immense race of sea scorpions that could've given rise to an intelligent sub-species, sometime in Earth's murky past. Also, probable objects of study for the Great Race of Yith or even alien engineering for unknown projects. The possibilities are endless when bizarre finds like this pop up, providing excellent creative feed for the mythos mill. I wouldn't be surprised to see ancient monstrosities like the great sea scorpions pop up in a new mythos anthology soon, given the fairly good health of the sub-genre right now.
